Happily Ever After...

I don't make a lot of wedding cards. Past that stage! Lol! But, this is for a good friend, who's good friend's daughter is getting married this month. Got it?!

I don't have any bride/groom stamps, but found this vintage cake topper image on Pinterest.

Papers are all from Prima "Butterfly" collection.

Dies & Punches used:
- Flowers are TH/Sizziz Tattered Flower Garland die & 2 Stampin' Up! punches: Spring Bouquet Flower & Boho Blossoms
- Tall flower is Memory Box Chloe Stem die
- TH/Sizzix Doily die
- Tattered Banners die used for sentiment.
- TH/Sizzix Heartfelt die

Sentiment is from the Stampin' Up! "Ever After" set. Added some sequins, Liquid Pearls, tulle, drywall tape, cord.

 Here are some closeups:

The dictionary meaning of "Marriage", I tore out of an old dictionary I bought at a flea market.
I added a bit of Seam Binding, tinted with some Distress Tattered Rose Ink, under the banner.

I added some Rose Gold Stickles to the flowers and Rock Candy Distress Stickles for some "crunch"

The inside. Sentiment is from Stampin' Up! "Ever After" set. Corner is from Memory Box. The heart is from the TH/Sizzix "Heartfelt" die.

The inside, left side. I put a pocket here for a gift card, money, or cheque for the bride and groom. Pocket is from Michaels. You can buy in different colours. The hearts are TH/Sizzix, "Heartfelt" die.

The back.

Only a couple more days of vacation left then back to work! Weather didn't co-operate, but the 2 days we went away, were the only days that the sun was out! It has been raining all week! Yuck!

Have a great weekend, and hope you get inky! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a word or two!

i made it myself!
