Frazzled. Teal & Grey Colour Challenge

There's a weekly challenge at the Unity Stamp Company Facebook page. This week was a colour challenge; Teal & Grey and you must use a Unity stamp.

The little rag doll is an Itty Bitty stamp, called "Frazzled" and the sentiment is a stamp from "Angie Girl: Dream With Your Heart".

This was a challenge for me for sure! Didn't have a strip of teal patterned paper or even a decent grey! Used Tim Holtz paper. The base is a tag, shortened, then I added grey and teal and green and blue inks! the piece at the bottom is dark grey, but here it looks brown!

Added some bling and glitter. Free hand doodling around the edges. She is one of my favourite stamps. Didn't do the back for some reason!

Hump day is over, and the weekend is in sight!

  Thanks for stopping by!
Hope you are getting inky!

Peace Out Willow Girl

Love these Angie Girls from Unity! This one is called "Willow Girl", and she's a hippie! Lol! The sentiment is part of the set. I paper pieced her boots. Coloured her with pencils.

I used a giant kraft tag and cut to size. All papers used are Recollections Boho (how appropriate!), along with the Washi Tape and enamel dots.

Peace sign and smiley face are dies from Memory Box, which I layered on paper from the set; black paper for smiley.

Flower punches are Stampin' Up Boho Blossom (how appropriate!) and a small Daisy punch. Doily dies are Cheery Lynn.

Liquid Pearls on flower centres and on her belt. Stickles used here and there, along with some sequins. Inked up some seam binding and made a tye dyed look bow.

The back. This is another sentiment from the set. Heart die is Spellbinders.

This is for a Unity Stamp Company Facebook colour challenge, and a group on Flickr that I follow, "Love! Handmade cards..." April challenge, "Spring Fling"

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you're getting inky!

Book Girl

Love my new Unity stamp set! I call her Book Girl, but the set is called, "Part of the Story"

Used a Ranger Giant Tag, folded in half. Love using these tags for cards. All paper used is from FabScraps, "Wood Chic" collection. Gives her a Shabby Chic look.

The checker board chipboard at the bottom is from Blue Fern Studios. I coloured with Gelatos, sprayed with Diamond Glimmer Mist and white washed with a white Gelato. Added some sequins (of course!)

The dictionary meaning of "Read" is from an old dictionary I found at a yard sale. Very old and brittle. The words are from a Prima booklet, called "Statement Stickers".

Added some Distress Tattered Rose to the Seam Binding ribbon.

I paper pieced her vest. Stamped her on paper from the set; cut; glued. The rest of her I coloured with my pencils. Added some glitter pens here and there, and some cheesecloth along the left side of the card.

Used SU Boho Blossom and EK Success Daisy to make the flower. Added some Distress Stickles to flower to make it "crunchy". And a little cheesecloth underneath.

The inside. This is the sentiment stamp that came with the set.

The back.

Made this card for the Unity Sketch Challenge on their FB site.

Hope you are having a great week so far. We got more snow last night! Ugh!

Thanks for stopping by and hope you're getting crafty!
