Gingerbread Man

My first Christmas card of the season! The recipient has received it, so it's safe to post it.
I LOVE the blueprint stamps! Was late getting this set. I decided at the last minute to buy it. I usually get the mini blueprints, but went with the 4 big ones; Gingerbread Man, Gingerbread House, Candy Cane and Peppermint Candy. Looking forward to inking up the other three!
The papers used are from my Christmas paper stash, which is a mix of papers from over the years! I really need to buy some new paper!
The sentiment is also TH, "Simple Sayings" set. He was paper pieced on some patterned brown paper and then popped up a bit. Added some brown pencil and Gamsol around his edges.
I used Stickles on his buttons and bow tie, black bling on his eyes, and white Liquid Appliqué on his mouth, around his arms and legs. You can't tell by the photo, but it is puffy!
Added some Liquid Pearls, sequins, baker's twine and ribbon to complete!

The inside. Sentiment stamp is from Inkadinkado. Red Liquid Pearls for berries on the side.

The back.

Have a great week and hope you get some shopping done! I haven't started and I'm starting to panic just a little bit!

Angel ATCs

Angels We Have Heard On High
Flickr Group ATC Swap 2015

I'm in a crafty group on Flickr, where we share our creative masterpieces and have the occasional swap.

I have made several ATC's over the past year, and they are one of my fav things to make!

The theme for this swap was Angels, and we had to make 2 for 2. I was in a couple of groups, so I had to make a total of 8 ATC's for 4 ladies.

The destination for my ATCs were: Australia, Thailand, B.C. and New Brunswick.

  In no particular order...

This was a fun swap! I made them all at a weekend crop back in September. You know when all the stars align and your mojo was dead on? Well, that's what happened that weekend! Got them all done ahead of time! Still waiting for a couple of mind to arrive. I will post the one's I received here, when I get them all.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you got a lot of great sales today, Black Friday! Hope you got some crafty goodies!

Bird Crazy TU

A thank you card for a special friend (Hugs and Wishes!). Still in love with the Bird Crazy stamps and matching dies! This fella has a pair of googly eyes!

Papers used are all from the DCWV collection called Vintage Collector. Sentiment die is Sizzix/TH Thinlits Celebrate collection. Added a feather and some sequins. I used Distress Inks to colour the bird.

  The inside.

The back.

Entering this birdie in:

I don't think I will ever get tired of the Bird Crazy set! I still have one bird I haven't used yet.

Getting caught up on my posts before the Christmas rush. Hope you are getting organized. The big day is not far off!

  Thanks for stopping by!

Coffee Wine Card

I love coffee, tea and wine! Made this birthday card for Mike's "niece" Shannon.
I love Tim Holtz blueprint stamps! You either love them or not! I stamped it first on the card and then stamped it again on patterned paper and cut the mug out. Paper piecing is my all time fav technique.
The paper is from an old collection from KaiserCraft called "Le Chateau".
Added some raffia, glassine paper and a couple of coffee beans!
Tucked in at the top is a the definition of "coffee" I tore out of an old dictionary.
The sentiment stamp is from Riley and Company.

Wine stamp is from a set from Hot Off The Press called, Smart & Sassy Sayings. The sentiment is something I typed, and then printed off. Again, I tore out the definition of wine from an old dictionary.

The back.

Hump day is over! Hope you are home relaxing with a nice cuppa coffee, tea, wine, or whatever your favourite beverage is!

Thanks for stopping by!
