Witchy Tag and Halloween Cards

You say Witch like it's a bad thing

Love making Halloween cards and tags! Didn't get as many done as I wanted this year.

The witch stamp is from Stampendous! called "Mirror Mirror", and that's what I stamped her on!

I used Tim Holtz Mirrored Sheets. I left the film on the glass (by accident!) and then stamped on top using black Stazon Ink. Love the way it turned out, with all the little imperfections! Glad I left the film on!

The frame is TH Sizzix Ornate Frame die. Cut it out using Grunge paper. The cat is also a TH Sizzix die from the Mini Cat and Raven set.

Added some sequins, black tulle, lace, and brads. All the paper used is from MME Midnight Magic Halloween.

Ticket word stamp is from the Stampers TH Odds and Ends set. A nice big wired black bow to finish it off!

Sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co.

Bought a bag of spiders at Dollarama

You can see my reflection in the mirror. Added some Pewter and Dusty Concord Distress Stickles to frame to give it some crunchiness.

Here are some cards I made in a class earlier in the month taught by my good friend Melanie.
The top left card is a shaker card with sequins in it! Loved making these!

Hope you managed to get some Halloween cards or tags done. I ordered some new Halloween stamps, so I may play with them when they arrive!

Have a good one, and thanks for stopping by!

Chocolate Birthday

"So much chocolate, so little time"

How true is that! Lol! Made this for Mike's aunt Janette's birthday. We got her a box of chocolates, which included her favourite, ginger chocolates, at a local chocolate shop.

Bit out of my box with this one. Friends have these cute little Pure Innocence stamps. I love what they do with them, but they never really appealed to me to use. I bought this one at a crafty yard sale, just to use for Janette's card. I think I love them now! Lol!

I paper pieced her and the box of chocolates. Stamped the sentiment that came with her on matching paper and cut out the words and popped them up. All papers used are from Prima Garden Fable 6x6 paper pad. Added some ribbon and tulle and a some sequins.

The inside. The sentiment stamp is from Stampendous! and was a perfect fit for this chocolate themed card!

Thanks for stopping by! I'm in the middle of a weekend crop. It's in the city, so I can come home at night. It started at 4pm Friday, and ends midnight Sunday. Going back this morning. 9am to midnight tonight. Great fun with fabulous crafty friends!

Party At The Nest!

This was so much fun to make! Made this canvas for Nancy, who was celebrating a milestone birthday! We've known each other since 1979!

For the background: Gelatos, Glimmer Mists, Dylusions sprays, stencils, stamps, drywall tape, sequins, white tulle, and a blue feather. Did some faux stitching around canvas with a fine sharpie.

The black Punchinella (or sequin waste), top left and bottom right corners, I bought at a local fabric store. It comes in all colours and was 79 cents/m. A little goes a long way! Bought some gold and silver to use on Christmas cards.

Gotta love the Bird Crazy stamps and matching dies! The crown is 2 dies from Memory Box, glued together. I stamped the birds on patterned paper, then cut them out with the matching dies, added some Distress Inks around the edges and on top. Stamped them again, and used the specific matching dies (beak, eyes, wings), then layered them. The party hat is from another TH stamp set, cut to size.

The sentiment stamps are from an Inkadinkado set called "Bird Assortment". I stamped them on vellum with StazOn ink; heat dried to make sure they wouldn't smear, then stuck them down with Mod Podge.

The checkered swirl stamp at the bottom is from a stamp set from Dylusions/Ranger called "Doodled Circles". It was stamped on tissue paper and also stuck down with Mod Podge.

I also spray painted this wooden easel for the canvas to sit on.

This is the back of the canvas with her birthday greeting! The 2 birds with attitude, are from the same Inkadinkado stamp set, "Bird Assortment".
