Couture

"A girl should be two things, classy and fabulous"
~ Coco Chanel
I LOVE graphic45 stuff! This is made from the new Couture 12x12 paper pad set. I got the stamps to go with it, but they were not big enough to go on this large tag.
This is the same tag I have been using lately to make cards; I folded the tag in half. This time I left it large and actually added a piece at the top; Tim Holtz On The Edge Ornate die cut.
Flowers are Petaloo Mixed Textured Layers, Apricot, and the label is a Nestie Fancy Label. Added some lace, trims, button and bling!
I made this birthday tag for Kim, a great lady who spoils us and goes the extra mile to find the "I have to have that" item! She is the owner and operator of my local paper craft store, The Cutting Garden.

Hope you are having a creative week! Trying to get organize for a scrapbooking retreat I'm going to at the end of the month in New Glasgow NS. My first one! I plan on working on my London trip. Planning the pages, is the hardest part, as I usually "wing" it!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a word or two. Muchly appreciated!

Smile Birthday Tag Card

Well this week has been a waste! Sick at home with a nasty cold! My first day back at work today, and I was dragging my feet. Not 100% but getting there!
This cutie is one of my favourite stamps! His name is "Smile" and you can purchase him at Stampotique. It was a friend's b'day and I wanted to try out my "new to me" Tim Holtz dies; Vintage Cabinet Card and Mini Cabinet Card. You can use them separately, but they work nicely together.
Papers used are from the Authentique "Suave" 6x6 paper pad set. Some burlap, cheesecloth, twine, drywall tape, cardboard and a couple of gears, to add some manly touches! Oh, and did I tell you how much I LOVE these large tags?! Folded they make a 5x5 card.

For those of you who are looking for new dies, I love these! So versatile. For those of you who live in the Halifax area, Kim at The Cutting Garden can order these dies for you lickety-split!

Hope you are keeping warm. We are going through a cold spell here. Ughh!
