A Fairy Birthday

New die! Love this fairy die from Spellbinders! I believe there are 3 of them. I think I may have to get another one!
Birthday card for my cousin Bev in Ontario. Paper used is from the Prima Nature Garden collection. That beautiful odd flower on the left, is called "Tall Chloe Stem" from Memory Box.
Sentiment is from Crafty Secrets Clear Art Stamps; an old set from 2008; called "Fairyland".
Corner dies are also from Cheery Lynn. Added some cheesecloth, glitter and DI Tattered Rose to the seam binding bow. Butterflies are MS punch.

Flower die is Cheery Lynn. One of my favourites!

The inside. Sentiment is also from the Crafty Secrets set, "Fairyland".

The Back. Butterfly is MS punch, and the little ladybug fella is from the Crafty Secrets stamp set, "Fairyland".

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and are getting ready to bring in the New Year! We are having friends over and cooking lobsters.

Seasons Greetings

Love the paper in this new BoBunny set called "Altitude". My go to sentiment dies, TH Holiday Script Words cut out with teal glitter paper. Layered snowflakes are Impression Obsession, with a teal glitter brad, and a little cheesecloth underneath.

A Snowman and an Elf...

My favourite snowman stamp! You either love him or hate him! He's from Stampotique! I don't think he likes the snow very much!
Papers used are from the Frozen 6x6 pad set. Sentiment is from my new TH Holiday Script Words set (17 dies!!). Paper pieced him and added some cheesecloth. Snowflake is Cheery Lynn.

Another Stampotique stamp. His name is "Joy" and doesn't he look festive and happy?!
Can't remember where I got the sentiment stamp, but it suits him to a tee! Snowflake dies are Cuttlebug and Impression Obsession. Added some Liquid Appliqué for snow. Papers are also from the "Frozen" set. I paper pieced him and added a pom pom on his hat.

The inside. Sentiment stamp Inkadinkado. Snowflake edge punch is Martha Stewart and the other snowflake is Impression Obsession.

That's it for Christmas cards for another year! Hope you are having a great time with family and friends!

Christmas Bird Song

Loved making this! Large tag torn in half. Covered front and back with Tim Holtz Wallflower Vellum 12x12 paper. Sentiment and bird stamps are from the Dina Wakley Scribbly Birds set. Used Distress Inks and water to colour the bird. Poinsettia and bird cage are Tim Holtz dies. Love the bough dies from Memory Box! Added some Liquid Appliqué to the boughs and red balls. It gets puffy when you heat it and gives it a snowy look. Applied some DI Rock Candy Stickles here and there to give it a crunch.

The back. Sentiment is another die from the TH Holiday Script words. Really liking this die set!

Made this card for Mike's aunt Janette. Not having a white Christmas here! Rainy, windy and a bit on the mild side! Have a great Christmas!

Merry Christmas Eve!

"My Hearty Good Wishes To You"

I know! This one got away from me; a life of it's own! Large card/tag I made for Mike.
Vintage Santa from Pinterest. Paper is all from one set by K&Company from a few years back, 2011, called "Yuletide". "Believe" die cut is from the fabulous Tim Holtz die set (17 dies!), called "Holiday Script Words". Snowflake die from Impression Obsession. Lots of fun to make!

Did something different this time. Used 2 large tags and made a stand. I tucked some chocolates inside!

This is the back with sentiment stamps from the set called Naughty and Nice from Hot off the Press.

I will be posting more Christmas cards tomorrow!

Hope you have a wonderful Christmas with family and friends! Peace and happiness in 2015!

Christmas Joy

"Christmas Joy is in My Heart"

Posting a couple of Christmas cards. This one is made with an old set of Graphic 45 papers. The little Poinsettia is "new to me" die. Love it!

The last of the mitten cards! (2 more, actually!). This one is made from papers from the Authentique pad set, "Cozy". Made this for friends of ours, Nancy & Bill.

The inside

Mitten card 2. Background paper on this one is from a pad set called "Frozen"

Two Traditions, One Wish

"Two Traditions, One Wish"

A friend of mine asked me to make a card for her sister, Anne and her family. They celebrate Hanukkah and Christmas.
Both images I got off Pinterest. The papers used are from the Fancy Pants, "Oh Deer!" collection. Snowflakes are from Impression Obsession.

I found this snowflake paper in my stash. It has fuzzy embossed snowflakes all over.  I added some tiny snowflakes I got from the Dollar Store and topped them off with white sequins (my new favourite embellie!). Before attaching the snowflake I added some cheesecloth.

This sentiment came from Pinterest too.

The back.

Fun card to make! I wish everyone a Happy Hanukkah and a Merry Christmas!

Mittens, mittens, & more mittens!

For some reason I couldn't stop making mitten cards! This fabulous mitten die set I got from Mike last Christmas, so I didn't get a chance to use it.
It also comes with the bow and a large snowflake. The paper used on this one is from the 6x6 paper pad set by Authentique called "Bundle".
This is the only one I made that I "stuffed" with some party streamers! It was the last one I made (and my fav!), and I never thought of stuffing the mittens until I was just about to glue this one down! The other snowflakes (3), are from Impression Obsession.

You can sort of see the puffiness in this photo. I added some cheesecloth at the top and in the mitten. The "Merry Christmas" die is from poppystamps.

The inside.

Ok. How many of you are hoarding this paper line? Remember this one? BoBunny "Snowfall". I hardly have any left! I ran the blue mitten through the Cuttlebug using the Argyle EF.

The inside. Not sure where this sentiment
stamp came from.

The papers used on this one and the next one are from 3 old Authentique lines; Joyous, Festive and Peaceful.

The inside.

Here are the die cuts used. For you locals, I bought them from Kim at The Cutting Garden

Hope you are getting your Christmas shopping and crafting done. Having some mild rainy weather here. Not complaining mind you! Better than snow any day!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a word or two! Always appreciated!
