Happy Birthday to a True Classic!

Today is my father-in-law's 92nd birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROD! He has his own room at the Veteran's Memorial and is usually found in his lazy boy chair reading!
Ok. This paper set is old and I try not to use it, because you cannot get it anymore, as far as I can tell. It's Cosmo Cricket "Halfway Cafe". Love the weathered wood look and the colours! Used my favourite extra large kraft tag, folded in half.
Car stamps and sentiments are from Clear Art Stamps, "Car Classics" set. Not sure if this set is still around. It came out in 2010. I paper pieced the cars from the same paper pad. Used black pencil on the tires.
Star punch is called "Holiday Funky Star" from Tonic. The smaller yellow tag is from the SIZZIX Framelits Fancy Tags set, which has 5 dies. Tucked some burlap under the tag and used some thick twine to tie a knot in the hole.
Added some free hand dots and dashes around the edge, and a couple of photo corners.
The inside. The "R" is from the paper set; press out letter sheets. So is this small tag. Another car stamp from the set.

Closer look at the inside.

And of course, the back. It's not finished 'til you do the back, right?! Love this paper!

Hope you are having a good week. Weekend coming up around the bend! It's been pouring rain here, but I can't complain! At least it's not snow! Those poor souls in Buffalo NY!

i made it myself!
