A Card For A Lady

Some paper sets are sacred. You can't get enough of it. You buy doubles or triples, just in case you run out or they discontinue it. You know what I'm talkin' about. You become a paper hoarder.
This card was made with special paper for a special lady. Carol Anne or as she is affectionately called, "Mama Bear" to us local crafters, love, love, love Graphic 45's "A Lady's Diary" collection. We love pretty much all of their paper lines, but this one is simply beautiful!
I made this card for Mama Bear to thank her and her husband Jerry for giving me a ride to the Spring Fling Scrapbooking Weekend in New Glasgow last month. I had the best time ever at my first weekend crop!
The lovely lady is a stamp (including the script behind her), and so is the frame and sentiment. They are from the "A Lady's Diary" stamp set; one of 3 sets. I paper pieced her from various patterned sheets from the set. Flowers were fussy cut from ALD paper also. I also used Liquid Pears, Bisque on the frame. All paper and stamps bought from my fav local paper craft emporium, The Cutting Garden

Fussy cut this flower from ALD paper and added some Distress Stickles, Scattered Straw and Tattered Rose to the centre.
