Grungy Monday, Butterflies & Tags...

Another week, and 3 for the price of one! Click on photos for larger images. This tag is for the following challenges:

Linda over at Studio L3 is asking us to do a TH technique;  12 Tags of Christmas Day 8 (2009). Love this technique!


Some dirty grungy details:
Supplies:
  • Used same DI inks; Antique Linen, Old Paper, Frayed Burlap, Walnut Stain, Aged Mahogany, Mustard Seed and some Spiced Marmalade on butterfly
  • Key is from K&Company; pearls, ribbon, screw brad from Michael's; lace from Dollar Store ; vellum and craft tag, black CS.
  • Games spinner and brad on butterfly from TH Idea-ology
  • Flourish stamp is from TH Boundless Flight set ; sentiment stamp is from TH Seamless Experience set ; butterfly stamp from TH Spring Sprung set
  • Tonic distress and scratching tools

I love the composition of your tag! Fantastic! And... I was once in Halifax, Nova Scotia :) But it was 19 years ago... Nova Scotia is absolutely wonderful place! I was totally fascinated by it!

Hello Debbie,

your tag is really elegant.
I like the double use of the scroll : once in red, once in blue.
The trimming around the tag is a great detail.
