SDC34: Flower Power, Lucy Maud & Mick

What luck and great timing! I just made this card for a co-worker's daughter, who graduated from college, and I noticed Stampotique had a new challenge posted called, Flower Power

This is going back to "my roots" so to speak. There's no distressing, ripping or tearing going on here! The quote is from a famous Canadian author from Prince Edward Island, Lucy Maud Montgomery. For those of you who don't know who she is, she wrote the Anne of Green Gables books. Have a look here for a bio and history.

The Supply List:
- DP are KaiserCraft Le Chateau Collection set
- Nesties Labels Four- Cloth white rosette flowers are Tim Holtz Trimmings, Distress Ink Vintage Photo
- Photo corner punch
- Light blue flowers, pearls and bling from my stash of unknown origin!
- Lucy Maud sentiment is from a 5 sentiment stamp set called Krafty Quotes #2 from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

Ok. The Stones are my all time fav band EVER! Here is a concert video from 1995. The song is "Dead Flowers". I know, it's not a very cheery title, but it is about flowers, and, it's a really great tune! Mick's playing guitar too! So have a look and listen. Sing out loud and strong!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day! Look around and leave a comment or two!
