Grungy Monday 07: Distress Ink Color Blocking

Thinking Of You
This tag/card (I attached the tag to a card), is for Auntie Rose, who is under the weather. She lives in Ontario. The Distress Inks used are: Rusty Hinge, Wild Honey, Fired Brick and Victorian Velvet. The large butterfly is from Close To My Heart, Find Your Style set, smaller butterfly and sentiment unknown. Flourish is fromTH Flights of Fancy set. Flower is from Michael's $1.50 bin, which started out white. I sprayed a little Glacier Glimmer Mist after I did the colour blocking and stamped a splatter stamp with Vintage Photo, here and there. Great technique! Will be using this one again for sure! Entered this in the Grungy Monday Distress Ink Color Blocking Challenge

Here's a look at Mr. Holtz in action:

Have a great long weekend and TFL!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! Love it so much... may I even let on that (whisper here) like yours better than TH's?
I'd so love to live near a Micheals store - think there's only one in the UK in London... their lenticular (3D) halloween stickers with the scary changing portraits are something I've been trying to get my clammy mitts on for ages! *lol* Then you go and find more delectable bargains there... I want to find cheap flowers to pretty up! (sulk) *lol*
