My entry in the Simon Says Stamp and Show Lord Tim of Holtz Technique Challenge This was a fun card to make. It was for a co-worker's son's birthday. He'll be 22 in April. I used the Tim Holtz Texture Fades embossing folder, Cracked and ran it through the Cuttlebug first, and then I used the watercolour background technique. There were a lot of pockets that the ink didn't get into, so I applied ink to the white spots, spritzed with water, and used the heat gun to speed up the drying time.
I then applied Clear Rock Candy Distress Stickles to the raised parts to give it a crusty texture and glassy look. Should try watercolouring first and then run through Cuttlebug next time! Duh!
Rocker and word stamps are from Inkadinkado. Hardware is Tim Holtz. Distress Inks used: Vintage Photo, Broken China, Fire Brick, Dusty Concord, Peeled Paint and Wild Honey. Spica Glitter Markers: Black and Turquoise.
Hope you have a fabulous day! Spring is taking it's time getting here, that's for sure!
Leave a word or two before you go! :)
